Whenever I ask advice on how to get my crush to like me, one of the most common things I hear is 'Play Hard To Get.'
At first it seemed a little strange to me. I want him to like me, but why would he like me if I act like I don't like him?
Simple, GUYS LOVE THE CHASE.
Guys don't want an easy girl who's obsessed with them and would do anything for them. That's boring. Guys want a girl that makes them work for her, a girl who gives a great chase. Guys want a girl who makes them feel alive, not like they've been married for 20 years and are trapped.
Guys like to know that they worked to get their girl. What's better than being able to say that they caught the heart of a girl that no other guy could get?
I think Playing Hard To Get really works when you're first trying to get a guy to notice you.
If the guy you like is really hot, and has all the girls flirting with him, be the girl that doesn't. He'll start to wonder why you aren't crushing on him, and you'll become a challenge.
Everyone wants what they can't have. So if they can't have you, that just makes them want you even more.
The Harder you are to get, the longer the relationship. Why would they work so hard for something if they don't plan on making it last? They'd go to a bar and find an easy girl, but they must've wanted something real if they fought so hard to get you.
Playing hard to get works very well. It makes guys realize that you aren't just gonna wait around and be there when it's convenient for them.
Be hard to get, Not easy to forget.
