I used to be on Facebook almost every second of everyday. I don't even know why, what's so special about it anyway?
I think people are addicted to Facebook, because they have an odd desire to know what's going on in the lives of their friends, strangers, people they hate, and people they don't really care about. A few clicks is all it takes to see that someone broke up with their boyfriend, someone's shopping, someone just got a dog, someone's moving or even to see if anyone died.
Who needs to go outside and hang out with their friends, when they could just hang out with them on Facebook? We have turned into a lazy generation, our fingers get more exercise than any other part of our bodies. I've seen 6 years old with Facebook accounts, what ever happen to having to be 13 to even have an Email?
Facebook is really just a place where people who never speak to you, add you as their friend.....and still never talk to you. Just because you know who someone is, doesn't mean their your friend.
I've noticed that lots of people treat Facebook likes it's their diary. Well they probably shouldn't, because literally ANYONE could see it. Who really cares if you loved a boy, but he doesn't love you back? Honestly not very many people care! Most people would look at that post and call you an attention seeker, or a cry baby.
There are SO many girls out there that literally dress up as nice as they can to take a Facebook picture. Do they really need 10 pounds of make up for a picture that people will look at for 2 seconds, like and forget about? When i see people with 'perfect' profile pictures that barely even look like them, I think of one thing, Photo Shop. How else do they look so good, and then just look average when i see them. In Profile pictures you should be natural, not dressed up, you're not a movie Star!
I think the number one reason Facebook is so addicting is, DRAMA! Everyone is addicted to drama, it's what makes life interesting. Ever been on Facebook and not see any fights? No one complaining about what 'so and so' did to them? Well without the drama i bet not as many people would be on it, because they'd be bored. All there would be to do is talk, and play games....what fun is that? People love drama!
